The Regional Sales Director for Vocational equipment and Trucks will be responsible for managing the regional sales force in the Northeast US.


  • Manage and develop a sales team if 8-12 team members deployed in the Northeast US.
  • Set goals for each salesperson to exceed volume and profit expectations.
  • Work with sales team to grow business.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Establish a high level of professionalism internally and externally.
  • Monitor competitive environment
  • Evaluates market research and adjusts strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to product delivery using CRM system (
  • Communicate goals, plans, and performance to Management
  • Work with management to make decisions on changes to inventory to ensure equipment availability meet goals
  • Plan and manage promotional activities.

Background Required

  • 4 Year degree in Business or technical discipline
  • Professional and Technical knowledge of aerial vehicles, equipment and heavy & light duty trucks.
  • 10+ Years of Previous sales management experience of capital goods
  • Must have previous 5+ years of outside sales experience in vocational equipment and or truck sales.
  • Can demonstrate a track record of sales achievement and new business development in vocational vehicle sales or leasing.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the NE region, Valid Driver’s License required

Preferred Required

  • 4 Year degree in Business or technical discipline
  • Vocational truck sales management experience selling to customers direct.
  • Experience managing a remote sales force
